I contacted our representative at Pop & Lock about the installation of Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock, part # PAL8250, on your 2011 Ford F-350. He informed me that you will need to connect to violet/grey wire and the grey/brown wire. You will need to remove the driver side front door panel to access these wires, which will be located near or run into the factory actuator. You can test the wires with a multimeter, like part # PT89ZR. When the lock switch is in lock position, one wire will read positive and one negative, if you switch to unlock the wires will switch polarity.
