Can Head and Center Section of Curt Q25 Fifth Wheel Hitch Disassemble

Question:

I know the head can be removed from the legs and the legs can be removed from the head. Isn't that the same thing. I want to know once you have installed the rails with the legs can the whole unit come off. I know that the rails are in place for good but I want to pull the whole unit off just incase I need to move some 4' x 8' pieces of drywall. I don't want the legs to be in the way.

The Curt Q25 fifth wheel hitch part # C16265 that you referenced can have the legs removed from the center section and the head removed from the center section.

Yes, if you wanted to remove the entire hitch from the rails installed in the bed of the truck you certainly could pull it all out as one assembly.
