Question:
I need a 13/4inch to 2inch rise. Looking at the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2inch Hitches - 3/4inch Rise, 2inch . I thought there was a 1-2inch extension for a ball. Or an extra tall ball?

When a small amount of height rise is needed to keep your hitched trailer level you can either use a ball mount with that amount of rise or in some cases use a high-rise hitch ball like those shown on the linked page. These hitch balls are available in all three ball sizes (1-7/8-inch, 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch) to match your trailer coupler and with two different shank diameters, 1-inch like # C40034 and 1-1/4-inch like # C40036, to match your ball mount. All are shown on the linked page.
If you prefer a ball mount can be used to give you the height gain you need. Both fixed and adjustable 2-inch ball mounts are shown on the linked page.
In most typical towing situations it is good to start out with the hitch ball height about an inch higher than the height of the level trailer's coupler; this helps offset the normal squat from the trailer tongue weight.
