Using a Hollywood Racks 1450E with a 5th Wheel RV

Question:

I am reading a review from Brandon M on the Hollywood 1450E for electric bikes from a Brian. He mentions when using the bike rack on a RV you will need to use a security strap to secure the bikes to the rear of the RV to prevent any jostling.inch What does this mean as I have this bike rack I just purchased from you and received it yesterday and will be traveling in about 10 days with 2 Pedego EBikes and want to have the best understanding how to secure the bikes and hitch to my RV.

This means you will need to use a strap like part # 18050 to secure the bike rack to the trailer hitch on the back of your 5th Wheel to reduce its overall motion. I've included a video demonstrating how this strap improves the performance of a rack on smaller passenger vehicles, though the same idea transfers through to your application. If your trailer doesn't bounce around all that much, then you may not need it, especially if you've improved your vehicle's suspension.
