What Height Setting Should Demco Hijacker Hitch Head be Set At

Question:

I have the Demco 21k autoslide Item # DM8550038 What is the best preferred setting when installed in a 2017 F250? Factory prep kit. The RV dealer set it at the highest setting. Is low or medium not possible for clearance issues?

The height setting really depends on the trailer you plan on towing. You want to go with the setting that allows the trailer to be towed as level as possible. One size does not fit all as trailer and truck heights vary slightly so that's why the hitch has a few settings you can pick from.
