Will Reverse Light Circuit of Honda Odyssey Handle Powering Reverse Lock Out Solenoid
Question:
I have a 2010 Honda Odyssey and I want to switch my 4 pole flat trailer plug to your 5 pole flat trailer plug. I understand that I hook up the additional blue wire to my reverse lights. I only have a 7.5 amp fuse on my reverse lights. Is this a problem? Will that be enough to disengage the trailer brakes on my new boat trailer when in reverse? Thanks for your help.

Reverse lockout solenoids do not draw very much amperage at all so the # 20036 attached to your reverse light circuit wouldn't be a problem.
