Question:
My Lance camper is truck mounted with a 6 pin female electrical connector to connect to the vehical for 12v electrical power. I would like to connect the camper cable to the 7 pin factory connector on the rear of my 2014 . 2500 Dodge Ram truck. The cable length would need to be about 8ft . What adapter cable should I use ?

For the connection, I believe you are looking for an extension like the Hopkins Heavy-Duty, Coiled Trailer Connector Adapter - 7-Way to 6-Pole Round - Center Pin Brake # HM47085, but an 8 foot length versus 3 foot.
For this, you will need to create a cable using the Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Connector with Molded Cable - Trailer End - 8' Long - RV Standard # H20046 and the 6 way # PK12720. I've attached an article to assist with the connections.
