The Ultra-Fab Economy 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer - Steel - 31" to 54" - 5,000 lbs # UF19-950500 is made of steel. This tripod is a great support to increase the stability of the 5th wheel trailer that has a large overhang that would sit over the bed of the truck. Because the landing gear is so far back on many models, especially those with slide outs in this location, the increased stability at the king pin will keep your trailer more level and will keep it from rocking when multiple people are in that area of the trailer.
