You have a couple of options. If you want to change out your wiring completely, I recommend the Tekonsha Upgraded Heavy Duty ModuLite Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness with Install Kit # 119190KIT. This will give you the quick splice connections and the power wiring to your battery to allow you to keep your current European wiring and add the American style trailer wiring.
If you just want a converter adapter, you can use the European 7-way round pin adapter to American 4-way # 118710 only if you have the combined brake and turn signals.
If you have the European 13-way, you would need to do some wiring to make an adapter. You could make an adapter using a universal 4-way flat tail light converter like part # 119130, but you would need to find a European trailer side 13-way connector that can be rewired. Simply connect the blunt cut wires from the Tow Ready Converter # 119130 to the corresponding pins on the 13-way connector. The functions of the wires from the Tow Ready converter are listed below.
Red Wire - Brake Lights
Yellow Wire - Left Turn Signal
Green Wire - Right Turn Signal
Brown Wire - Tail Lights/Running Lights
White Wire - Ground
