Question:
I am building an off road camp trailer that will have a full weight of 1000lbs and would like to use a version of Timbrens suspension with a 4inch lift. They do not offer a 4inch lift in their 1200lb unit so it seems that I would have to go with the 2000lb HD option. My question is, would it be to stiff as I would only be at 50 of the suspension rating or is there another option that I am not seeing?

What you are seeing is correct. The lowest weight rating we offer the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension with 4" Lift in is 2,000 lbs using part # ASR2KHDS04. The 2,000K system would still work for you though as you have mentioned, may be a little stiff. However, this is your only option for an axle-less suspension system that offers 4" of lift.
