How to Determine if Sportrack Ridge Swing part # SR2415 will Clear Truck Tailgate
Question:
Hi there, Im considering buying a SportRack Ridge Swing 4 Hanging Hitch Bike Carrier for my 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Im wondering if you can advise on whether the side swing length will be sufficient to clear the tailgate and/or vehicle side, for this rack/vehicle combo? Thanks!

When the Sportrack Ridge Swing part # SR2415 is installed in a hitch pin it swings out a total of 36 inches away from the center of the hitch it is installed in. So you would need to measure 36 inches from the hitch on your truck to the side to see if that would put the rack far enough away to allow the tailgate to open.
