For your 2014 Mini Clubman 3-door wagon base model, I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, Item # BX1307, which is a custom fit for your vehicle and has removable arms. You may have these things already, but you will also need for flat towing your Mini a tow bar, safety cables, wiring, a braking system, and maybe a high-low hitch adapter.

For a tow bar and safety cables, I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar, Item # BX7380, which comes with safety cables.

For lighting, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit Item  # RM-15267 that will use your vehicle's tail lights and also includes 7-wire to 6-wire coiled electrical cord.
