There is a way for you to determine which Equal-i-zer system is the right one for you but you will need to know your tongue weight with water and the amount of weight behind the rear axle of your truck.
From what you described, if you loaded the water tank and added only some of the 200 lbs - 300 lbs weight behind the rear axle of your truck then you may be able to use the Equal-i-zer # EQ37140ET, which is rated for total tongue weights between 1,000 lbs and 1,400 lbs. So it would be a great choice if you were in the 1,250 lb range. It is recommended you use Thin Walled Socket for Equal-i-zer Hitches # EQ70-00-4800 with this system to make installing the hitch ball a simpler task.
