Question:
I have a 16foot dual axle utility trailer and I am adding electric brakes. Which axle do I put the brakes on, front or rear? Ill be using this trailer to haul Harley Davidson motorcycles. There seems to be several opinions on this topic out there.

We recommend putting the brakes on the axle that will have more of the cargo's weight on it. For a utility trailer that's typically the front axle. Typically the only time you see the brake axle as the rear axle is if it's a boat trailer since the weight of the engine is behind the axles.
