Does the Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-5094BK Have Drain Holes to Drain and Dry Sewer Hose

Question:

Does the Valterra sewer hose carrier have drain holes? If not, should I plan on drilling some near the ends of the tube to help it drain and dry out? Based on other responses, it appears that right angle drain connector/end does not fit inside the Valterra sew hose carrier......Does E-trailer sell a similar sewer hose carrier that will allow the right angle drain end piece of a sewer hose to fit inside? thanks - keep up the great work at Etrailer!

The Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-5094BK that you referenced does not have pre-drilled holes for the sewer hose to air out, but you certainly can drill some if that is what you are needing.

As you can see from the product photos and attached video, the carrier is a straight piece of pipe so a 90 degree elbow will need to be removed prior to storing your sewer hose. This is the case for all of our carriers.

If you don't already have a flush valve then I highly recommend using one like the RhinoFLEX Rhino Blaster Adapter # CAM39080 or the Valterra Hydroflush Reverse Flush Adapter # F02-4110, if they are compatible with your hose, to avoid a heavy aroma of unpleasant when opening up the carrier.
