2006 Ford F-150 XL STX Questions in Regards To Custom Towing Mirrors
Question:
KS81800 2006 clip on mirrors says it wont fit STX models Did they make STX models in 2006? I dont understand what STX means....

STX is a appearance package which is an optional package on the Ford F-150. The STX is not a trim level, the STX can only be added to the XL trim level. According to my research the STX package started in 2003.
However, the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS81800 are a confirmed fit for your 2006 Ford F-150. Snap these custom-fit towing mirrors over your vehicle's existing mirrors for an expanded field of vision. Built-in mounting clips grab the inside edges of your factory mirrors for a simple, tool-free installation and a clean look.
If you have a STX it would be clearly indicated on both/or right or left back side of the fender.
