For your 1991 GMC Sierra Stepside, I recommend taking a look at the Curt Class IV Receiver Hitch # C14081. This hitch is confirmed to fit your truck and will use existing holes in its frame for a no-drill installation. Just note that the spare tire will need to be lowered or removed temporarily when mounting the trailer hitch. This particular hitch features a 2 inch receiver opening and a towing weight capacity of 10,000 pounds. I highly recommend checking the owner's manual for your truck to see what its specific capacities are, as you will simply need to follow the lower of the two ratings - the vehicle's or the hitch's.
