Question:
i buying a ram 3500 chassis cab and installing a cm sk model bed. i will be pulling a 2017 fuzion 345 toyhauler. should i get the ball that is recessed into the bed or get a turnover ball that is on the surface? i am concerned that the hitch height will be too high with the turnover ball or the goosebox wont clear with the recessed ball pocket.

If you are wanting to use a Reese Goose Box such as # RP94716-61301 then I would go with the ball type that sits on the top of the flat bed instead of the recessed one. You could compensate for the height, if it is an issue, by mounting the Goose Box as high up on the wings on the trailer that it can go.
The recessed ball could be fine but it depends on how large the opening is around the ball so I can't say for sure if there will be interference issues.
