Replacement 6-Way to 7-Way Coiled RV Connector for Flat Towing

Hi The 6 pin connector failed on coiled connector that plugs in to the RV, want to replace with 7 pin to RV so I dont need adapter . What would the wire connections be? I am towing a 2016 Jeep connected to a 2016 Thor outlaw wired with trailer brakes to 7 pin connector

There is a standard wire color to function relation for trailer connectors which I have attached for you, but you will want you test each of the wires with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to be sure you are making the correct connections. The 7-Way Round RV Style Trailer Connector part # A7WCB can be used to replace the 6-way on your coiled connector but a better option for you would be to replace the entire harness using the Hopkins Heavy-Duty Coiled Trailer Connector Adapter part # HM47085 if the center pin is for brakes or part # HM47083 if the center pin is for 12-volt power.

Replacing the coiled harness will take the guesswork out of installing a new connector. I have attached a review video of the above harness for you as well.
