Question:

I need a roof rack for 2018 Hyundai Ioniq to carry a canoe, but I only need one insead of two because I have a second support mounted on a trailer hitch. Thule Rapid 754 and KT TH1711 is reported to work on this car. Can I buy one instead of two? Thanks

All roof racks currently made for your 2018 Hyundai Ioniq, shown on the linked page, consist of two crossbars and the related foot assemblies.

But since you have a hitch support like the Malone Axis # MPG907 to hold one end of your canoe I do have a good solution for you that will cost much less.

We offer canoe carriers that do not require any roof rack crossbar. These cost-effective carriers include items like the Malone Canoe Carrier with Tie-Downs # MPG156. This kit includes 4 foam blocks that will help you to evenly distribute the canoe's weight across multiple points on the car's roof. The gunwales slip right into the slots in the blocks. Front and rear tie-downs are included. If you prefer you can use just two of the blocks and keep the others as spares.

If you need an easy method of moving the canoe from the car to the water you might like the Malone All-Terrain Canoe Cart # MAL78FR. This folding aluminum canoe carrier features padded bunks to gently support the canoe, large tires that roll easily even across sandy soil and it has a 200-lb weight rating. For what you would spend on a roof rack you can get the foam carrier and the cart and make more time for your on-water activities. The carrier folds up and the wheels come off with quick-release fasteners to make storing it in your vehicle easy.

I checked directly with Thule and they do not show any confirmed roof rack fits for your car so I cannot recommend using components that are not approved by Thule.
