Recommended 7,000 lb Axle System For Gooseneck Trailer

Do you Guys carry a 7000 pound Axle For a gooseneck

Expert Reply:

The only 7,000 lb axle we carry is the Timbren Axle-Less System. This is not your traditional through axle, but will work just as well. It is available in 2 options: a regular suspension and spindle # TASR7KS01 and a 4 inch drop spindle # TASR7KS02. Either of these will work well on a gooseneck trailer application and will replace leaf spring suspension components as well. It will require a cross frame member at the axle location or a 2 inch square tube (not included) to be added to the integrated holes on the assembly. These systems can be used in single or tandem axle applications, but not triple axle.

These spindles do come with the integrated brake flange and the EZ Lube grease zerk. They work with the Dexter Hub Assemblies # 42866UC3-EZ and the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-464-465. You also have options for hydraulic systems with drum or disc brakes if desired.

All of these component will work well for gooseneck trailers. Let me know if you have further questions.
