Should Quick Splice Connector 562 be Sealed if Used in Marine Application

If I use a quick splice connector, like your #562, on a submersible part of a boat trailer, do I need to protect it with some dielectric grease and either heat shrink or tape it?

If you use a quick splice like the # SWC501915-1 you would want to heat shrink it or use the waterproof tape like part # DW04367.
