Question:
I understand TorkLifts table for choosing Glowsteps based on the height of the step bay on the RV. What I have yet to understand is how Glowsteps behave on a truck camper with said measurement at 48 inches when loaded on the truck and 31 inches when unloaded and sitting on stands. The 48 inchloaded scenario would dictate a 5 or potentially 6 step unit. Its not clear to me how the steps will fully extend once the camper is unloaded and sitting at 31 inches, even when accounting for the 7 inches of adjustment built into the upper and lower components. Can you explain how this works or am I supposed to choose a set of Glowsteps based on ONE of the 2 conditions - loaded or unloaded? Thanks in advance for your reply.

I wish we had an ideal solution that covered both scenarios, but best option would probably be the steps part # TLA8005 as it's the correct choice for the taller height you'd see. When it's lower the steps would maybe not be as needed. There's not a great way to cover your full range with a single step as this step is ideal for 39-1/2" - 48".
