Can the Roadmaster Kit # RM-152-98146-7 Run Through the Side Channel of Falcon All Terrain II

Question:

I have a coiled 7-wire to 4-wire from a previous toad Smart carthat we no longer have. I want to route the new wire through the side channel of my tow bar Falcon All-Terrain II can your wiring kit for towed vehicle model # RM-152-98146-7 work? We are setting up a 2008 Honda Element and want to keep it as simple as possible without using add on lights and not using a flat 4-pole plug. Every install I have seen leaves the flat 4-pole hanging relatively loose or zip-tied to the front of the toad which doesnt clean enough for me. One more thing the tow bar is mounted on a hitch adapter to bring it level with the toad that adds approximately 10 inches and Im adding a Ready Brake which adds another 12 inches to the overall length hitch to tow bar hook up. Im thinking that the 6.5 ft. wire provided with the kit might be too short, do you sell it in longer lengths or by the foot? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you.

The wiring for the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-152-98146-7 that you referenced will feed through the side channel of your Falcon All-Terrain II but if you are needing more length than the 6-1/2' cord I have another solution for you.

The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 is the exact same thing except that it has a coiled cord instead of a straight one. The coiled design keeps it from dragging on the ground when you are flat towing.

When it is retracted the cord is only 15" long, but when it is at its max length it is 8' long.

Since the 6-Way connector is already installed I don't think you will be able to run it through that side channel, but since it is already lifted above the ground you shouldn't need to run it along the tow bar.

I have attached a review video for you to check out.
