Can Curt LED 4-Way Flat Connector # I26 be Left on Vehicle Indefinetely

Question:

Is there a reason NOT to leave this tester installed on a wire harness when not in use? I installed a Tekonsha Wiring harness 118467 on my 2018 Subaru CrossTrek and applied dialectric grease to both sides of the connection. As I doubt using it very often, it is stored inside the tire well in a handy little cloth bag.

Leaving the Curt LED 4-Way Flat Connector # I26 plugged into a 4-way for an extended period of time would not be an issue at all. Since you used dielectric grease like the part # 11755 you wouldn't have to worry about corrosion either.
