Comparing the Curt A25 to the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
can you expand/explain about the head failure on the Q25 16265. I just bought this hitch and now am concerned about dependability of this hitch. A25 seems to be the same hitch for less money?????????????

The Curt Q25 # C16265 had some issues with the jaws that the company corrected, so you shouldn't have any issues. The A25 # C16180 came on the market with stronger materials and a different jaw design that interlocked and came with a lifetime limited warranty versus the 10 year limited warranty of the Q25.
The Q25 has an axial bearing that allows head movement 360 degrees, so it is able to function differently. The Q25 has easy 2 pin head removal. The A25 has easy 1 pin head removal. The Q25 has 3 zerk fittings versus 2 on the A25. Those are really all the differences.
