Recommended Roof Rack Compatible with 1997 Nissan Extended Cab Pickup

Will the Sport Rack # SR1004 mount to the back vent windows of a 1997 Nissan pickup extended cab?

The SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack SR1004 is no longer available as the manufacturer discontinued it. However, it was a confirmed fit for your 1997 Nissan Pickup with extended cab. It can only be used for skis or snowboards and will have a 17 inch spacing unless you use the Short-Roof Adapter for SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Racks # SR1116 which will also give you a 23-1/2 inch crossbar spread. It will not mount to the rear vent windows.

If you do not already have the roof rack, the only confirmed fit we have is the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack - Vacuum Cup Mount - 48" Long # 298-SX6000B. This utilizes vacuum cups with a pull strength of 210 lbs each to hold the bars in place. They are extremely easy to use and work very well.
