Crossbar Roof Rack Recommendation for 2018 Toyota RAV4 with Raised Side Rails
Question:
What the difference between the Malone MPG216 and MPG217? I just purchase the Yamaha Showdown Kayak load assistance. The product states that I need an extra 3 1/2 inch for the product to work and not hit the side of the car when loading the kayak. 2018 Toyota Rav4 Adventure Trim

For your 2018 Toyota RAV4 with factory raised roof side rails we have crossbar roof racks that are a fit but not from Malone as they recommend the smaller # MPG215.
Instead your best option is the Thule Rapid Crossroad Feet # TH450R, 47" WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220, as well as locks # TH450400.
The Thule crossbars work great with the Yakima Showdown part # Y04081 that you have.
