Question:
Hi, I live in the North but travel to Florida every year pulling a trailer. Concerned about the engine oil cooler cooling the oil below the optimum temp 230-260 degrees when my temps are freezing or below. Does the sandwich adapter have a thermostat the closes circulation until a maximum temp is met, say... about 260-265 degrees? Thanks,

The sandwich adapter of the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler with Multiple Threads # D15902 does have a thermostat built into it so that it allows the engine oil to warm up before sending it through the cooler. This will work well for you when driving in cold weather. It will allow the fluid to reach the correct temperature as needed.
