Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size ST235/80R16

i bought a used 5th wheel camper with 235/80r-16 tires with trail master on sidewall and another name which i cant read since it is in script. want to buy new tires and have been told several times to buy a load range e light truck tire since they will run cooler. is this true and do you recommend llight truck tires for this application?

The best way to prevent trailer tires from running hot is to not exceed their speed rating and to keep them inflated to their max psi rating. The best trailer tire option we have for you would be the Westlake part # LHWL401. This tire has a capacity of 3,520-lb max load at 80 psi, a speed rating of 75 mph (most are only 65) and comes with a 2 year roadside assistance program as well. This is a Load Range E as well.

If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
