Question:
I am interested in Max Air 6200k and wandering about the electrical hook up. I now have the little junk fan in the bathroom where the max air will replace. My fan is hook up to a switch on the wall to turn it on and off. Will I be able to still use that switch on the wall. I saw the directions for Max air and did not see that scenario. Thanks

The MaxxAir MaxxFan # MA00-06200K that you referenced is equivalent to a base model of the MaxxFan and it is only controlled by a keypad on the vent itself. If you wanted to connect it to your existing wiring then you would have to do some modification which is not recommended.
Instead I recommend going with the MaxxFan Deluxe # MA00-07500K which is the upgraded version. It has the same 10-speed settings but it comes with a remote and remote holder. You can mount the remote holder to the wall and then use that to activate the vent when needed, just like the switch on your wall.
