No Drill/Trim Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Infiniti QX60

Question:

Hitch for Infiniti QX60. We have just leased a 2018 QX60. I see in a couple of the reviews that the hitch doesnt clear the evaporative canister housing. I cant make any cuts/modification to the car. ANy solutions?? Thanks

With a Draw Tite hitch like the part # 76031 that fits your 2018 Infiniti QX60 there will be no drilling and if there is an evaporation canister present you'll have to manuever around it while installing but it does not need to be removed. The clearance will be tight though.

The installation instructions do not list trimming the bumper fascia as one of the steps of the hitch installation either.

This hitch when installed will sit below the bumper and will not interfere with any of the body molding of the vehicle.

As for installing this hitch on a lease vehicle, I recommend checking with the dealer that you purchased the car from to see if they have any restrictions on adding a hitch to the vehicle. Since, you do not have to modify any body panels of your QX60, I believe you will not have any issue with your dealer on installing this hitch.
