Question:
2016 Chevrolet 3500hd single wheel. Installing a BWGNRK1500 turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch on my flatbed to tow a 17000 lb trailer. How far ahead of center line of rear axle do you suggest? Also what steel dimension do you recommend for cross supports?

Since flat beds have a tendency to be a bit longer than standard truck bed I'd recommend putting the B and W Turnoverball # BWGNRK1500 right over the rear axle. Any further forward and you'd be more likely to have clearance issues between the rear of the truck bed and the trailer.
