Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit # ETBC7 Recommendation for a 2007 Ford Edge

I have already installed Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch - 2007 Ford Edge It looks AWESOME, under the Edge!!. There is a place on the Left- Side of the Receiver Hitch, to install a mounting Bracket for a Connector Socket. After I install the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring for the 2007 Ford Edge, will I run into any anomalies installing a Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket? I do understand that I will need a 4 Pigtail Wiring Harness for Pollak Replacement 7-Pole RV Socket, to connect to the Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket. Is there anything I need to know, or resolve before this in defer?

Once you install a T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 118430 you are going to need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way in order to use the Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector # HM40975.

Instead of doing that I would recommend you install a Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit # ETBC7 to give you both a 7 and a 4-way connector at the rear of your vehicle. This kit includes a connector that has a 7-way and a 4-way that is very similar to the # HM40975 that you referenced, but this kit includes everything you would need to make connector functional on your vehicle. I attached installation instructions for you to check out as well as an installation video for this product.
