Can a Trailer Roof Vent be Installed on a Fiberglass Roof
Question:
I have a 1986 2horse Trailet horse trailer with a fiberglass roof. There are no support beams on the inside of the roof. Will this work with the fiberglass roof ? Will I have to do anything else to support the vent?

The Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2110SP-24 only weighs about 5 pounds so I am sure that the fiberglass roof on your horse trailer can support it. But the included garnish is designed for roofs that are 1-7/8 inches to 3 inches thick. It is possible that your roof is thinner than that. You could replace it with # VA0445-25 which is for roofs that are 7/8 inches to 2-1/4 inches thick. It is the smallest one available.
I also recommend installation kit # 344270KITW to install the vent.
