Tire Recommendation for Dutchman Toy Hauler to Replace Size 235/80-16
Question:
Recommendation to up grade to 14 ply tires. We have a Dutchman/Voltgage toy hauler current tire is a Westlake 235/80 R16 Planning on doing more highway traveling. Have read a lot of problems with the Westlake blowing out. Thinking of going with a commercial grade. Thoughts and suggestions.

Probably the easiest upgrade you can make is to go to the slightly larger tire size 235/85-16 which has much higher capacities and is only a little over 1/2 inch taller.
We have great luck with the Westlake tire brand here, but another great brand is Taskmaster which has very high speed ratings of 81 mph. Most are only 65. West Lake is 75 mph.
The part # TTWPRG235R16 is a 14 ply tire with a capacity of 4,400-lb max load at 110 psi.
