I have a Reese rp30047 fifth wheel hitch and I need a custom mounting brackets and hardware kit for a 2006 Dodge Ram mega cab 1500 short bed. What kit can I use to mount this in this vehicle? Thanks for your time

We have just what you need. For a custom fifth wheel rail kit confirmed as a fit for your 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 short bed we have the # RP50140-58 which will also work great with your Reese hitch part # RP30047.
Custom fifth wheel rail kits are the way to go as they will install much quicker than a universal kit and will minimize drilling.
