Question:
I have a Curt X5 adapter plate and theres is a gap between the bed and plate. I'm wondering if there is a way to tell the difference in a 16220 and 16210 plate.

The easiest way to determine whether you have the Curt X5 5th Wheel Adapter with Double Lock, Item # C16210, or the Curt X5 5th Wheel Adapter with EZr Double Lock, Item # C16220, gooseneck hitch is to look at the safety cable loops. If the safety chain loops are smaller than the ball hole and offset then you have the Double Lock, Item # C16210. If they are about as wide as the gooseneck ball hole and are centered with the ball hole then you have the EZr Double Lock, Item # C16220. See the picture I attached and the picture for each product that comes with the instructions and match what you have with the similar adapter.
