How to Identify Correct Replacement Bearings for EZ Loader Boat Trailer
Question:
I need to replace wheel bearings on my boat trailer. My EZ Loader is older. I think it is referred to as an adjustable. Im interested in the BK2-100 Kit and can I use the seal that comes with the kit or do I need to order the 168233 seal extra. Thanks for any help you can provide.

The manufacturer of a trailer can sometimes confirm specific parts using the trailer's VIN but the best way to know what replacement bearings and seals you need is to pull one of the hubs and to remove those parts. Then it is usually easy to find the bearing and seal part numbers and to then search our site with those part numbers. The linked diagram shows the typical appearance of these part numbers.
As a means to double-check you can refer to the linked article that lists common sets of bearings used based on axle weight rating. For instance, 4400-lb axles often use inner bearing # L68149, outer bearing # LM67048 and grease seal # 58846. Another linked article will help you with the replacement process.
