Parts Needed to Make Custom-Length 7-Way Cable with Connectors
Question:
Where can I get a 7 twist lock connection for trailer breaks with a long connection wire in lieu of 6 or 10 foot.

Expert Reply:
Twist-lock connectors are fairly common within the RV power cord category, such as with RV Power Cord # 277-000145 which has a female twist-lock connector on one end, but not so much with vehicle-to-trailer 7-way connectors.
If you need a very long 7-way, longer than the ready-made items like 6-foot # H20044 and 4-foot # H20043, you can use bulk 7-way cable part # DW04914-1 (sold by the foot) along with a male trailer plug # A7WCB to make one to your required length. For a female vehicle socket that can be wired to this cable you can use # PK12-707E.
