Transmission & Oil Cooler Recommendation for 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 V6
Question:
2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V6 4x4. Can you recommend coolers for this vehicle. Recently while towing a trailer with a small car on it, total 4000lbs, the transmission oil temps would creep up to 220F. I would like to keep it quite a bit cooler.

For a kit confirmed as a fit for your 2009 Chevy Silverado that includes a transmission fluid and an engine oil cooler we have the Derale Combination Cooler part # D15902 which would work well for both. The oil filter portion of the cooler has multiple thread sizes included which will fit your truck as well.
