Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Ram 2500 Short Bed with Factory Rail Kit

Looking for fifth wheel hitch for 2018 ram truck.Has factory prep kit.Does not have 8 ft bed.It is Laramie Longhorn crew cab.

For your 2018 Ram 2500 short bed with the factory fifth wheel rail kit the best hitch solution we have would be the Demco Hijacker AutoSlide part # DM8550035 which automatically slides as you make tight turns to give you better turning clearance. Since you have a short bed truck you'll need the slider clearance to allow you to make tight turns without having the nose of your trailer hit the cab of the truck.
To fit this to the rail kit of your truck you'll need the rail kit adapter part # DM6099 and you'll be set.
