We have a couple Class III trailer hitches available that are designed to fit your 2009 Jeep Compass, the Draw-Tite Max Frame # 75712 and the Curt Receiver Hitch # 13548. Both of these hitches will fit the 2007 to 2016 Jeep Compass, along with the 2007 to 2017 Jeep Patriot. With this in mind, only a trailer hitch that came off of a 2007-2017 Jeep Patriot will fit your Compass, assuming it was one of the above custom-fit models.
