Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for 2013 Nissan Altima Sedan
Question:
Ive purchased an E-Bike. What is the best Trailer hitch and Rack to haul the EBike? Im looking at a Nashbar Shadow 2-Bike Hitch Rack. I think the bike with the battery is about 50 pounds. The two hitches that Im looking at is the Draw-Tight and the Curt. Are they both about the same install costs? The bike is designed to be used on the golf course.

The Curt # C11352 and Draw-Tite # 24796 trailer hitches are very much the same in terms of install. The only difference is the overall cost of the hitches and the fact that the Curt will require the use of stabilizing straps in order to maintain the warranty. So if you are looking for the less expensive hitch that won't require straps I recommend going with the Draw-Tite # 24796 for your Altima sedan.
This is a Class I hitch and will require you to use a compatible bike rack. I am not familiar with the bike rack you are referencing as we do not carry it but for that heavy of a bike I recommend going with the Thule EasyFold # TH903202 which works with a Class I hitch, has a 65 lb per bike weight capacity and weighs just 45 lbs.
