Troubleshooting Fan Not Operating On Ventline S0721 Series Range Hood
Question:
Thanks Jameson for the help on an wire that was hanging on my range hood. But now I have another issue, its the fan. I was having problems with the fan not working, it was working okay, but it stopped about 3 months ago. I replace the motor, but still it wont work. Im thinking, it maybe the switch. I bought the RV 2 years ago, so its not that old. The range hood is Ventline S0721

If you replaced the motor on your Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood like # S0721-20BC-F-1 and the fan is still not operating, it definitely could be a bad switch. I also recommend making sure you are getting power to the fan by testing the wires going into the unit. You can use a multimeter like # PT89ZR to ensure you are getting 12 volts at the range hood.
For a replacement switch, you can use the Ventline # BL0108-02. This will replace the black fan switch with the white fan icon on your range hood.
