How to Choose the Correct Fulton Trailer Jack for a Boat Trailer
Question:
I am trying to find a replacement Fulton boat trailer jack. It has a welded mounting plate on the trailer with a bolt hole patern of center to center of 4” top to bottom, 6.5 “ from center to center left to right. It is 25” fully extended from center of mounting bracket to the bottom of the 6” dia wheel, 12” of travel, unsure of lift rating, and it is a swivel type with 1/2” pull pin.. trailer is original for a 2000 model center console 17-18’ Ranger Bay boat. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I am assuming you are wanting to reuse the mounting bracket you have welded to the frame of your boat trailer and just replace the jack. If this is the case then I would need to know how the jack attaches to the mounting bracket in order to recommend the correct replacement.
If the jack attaches to the mounting bracket via a snap ring then you are going to want to use something like the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack part # FTJ120W0301. This jack has a 1,200 lb capacity, offers 10" of lift, and has a zinc plating for corrosion resistance.
If the jack attaches to the mounting bracket via a 1/2" bolt and nut then you are going to want to use something like the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack part # FXP10W0301. This jack also has a 1,200 lb capacity, offers 10" of lift, and has a zinc plating for corrosion resistance.
If for some reason the snap ring and bolt through jack do not match the mounting bracket you have on your trailer now, the worse case scenario would be that you have to reweld a new bracket on. There would be no way around this either as nothing else we carry or that you could easily find would work with these brackets besides the above two jacks. The Snap-Ring style jacks comes with a mounting bracket but if you need a new mounting bracket for the Bolt-Thru style then you will want to use part # P9012-00.
I have attached a review video on each jack for you as well.
