How to Install a 7-Way Trailer Connector and Brake Controller on a 2000 Ford E-250
Question:
i have a 2000 E250 without facory harnessor i cant find it i need a harness for 7 pin harness for an new pace trailer. I will remove the tekonsha from my 83 van and the brake and power wiring i need the rest to hook up lights etc. the relays are in the battery junction box .can you what do you have for this?

In order to install a 7-way trailer connector on your 2000 Ford E-250 you are first going to need a 4-way wiring harness and for this I recommend using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118344. This is a custom fit, plug and play harness that will not require any cutting or splicing of wires.
Once the 4-way is installed you will then need a 4 to 7-way adapter like the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole part # 37185. You can then transfer the Tekonsha brake controller, circuit breakers, and wires that you have on your old van to complete the installation. In order to mount the 7-way trailer connector to the vehicle's trailer hitch receiver, you will also need to use part # 18136.
