Question:
Hi. Was wondering if I could get some help on how to get My 2015 Toyota Tundra to be able to charge or maintain the charge on my battery on my car trailer for the winch while my truck is on or towing. I do have a 7 pin connector. Will I be able to tap into it and get the 12v off it a run it to the battery on the car trailer? Any help will be appreciated

You can deliver a maintenance charge to a trailer-mounted battery using the +12V power circuit included in your 7-way wiring setup.
The simpler method is to access the 12V auxiliary power circuit on the trailer's 7-way wiring using a junction box like # 38656 or # e99011. The junction box provides a handy way to access all of the lighting, brake and power circuits and makes it easy to replace the trailer connector if it ever is damaged. You can connect 10-gauge wire like # 10-1-1 to the post for the 12V circuit and run this to the battery positive terminal. You will need ring terminals like # 44-5310A. While you are driving the 7-way will deliver a maintenance charge to the winch battery on the trailer. But if the battery is depleted you will need a charger.
For a full charge you will want to use an AC-powered battery charger such as # CTEK56353.
