Wiring Atwood Air Command AC on Trailer
Question:
I currently have a 2015 Solitude with one Brisk Duo Therm 15,000 btu heat pump in the rear and a penguin 2 13.5 btu in the front. Will I need to change any wiring/t-stat or will the plug and play with the current dometic ccu and t-stat? I hear the Atwood are so much quieter and I am about to replace the 13.5 anyway to a 15 so I though what the hay, Ill just look at a full upgrade.

Though we do not carry your current systems so I cannot speak to how they are wired, what I can do is tell you how the Atwood Air Command # AT15028-22 (White) or # AT15033-22 (Black) will be wired so you can make a comparison to your system (please see accompanying diagram).
There will be a +12V to the red wire and -12V to the black wire of the Air Command from a 12 volt power supply; the furnace output and furnace input wires to the blue wires of the Air Command and the two blue wires are interchangeable. The other wiring is from the wall-mounted thermostat, and you will only need to connect the cables that come with the system.
