I am pleased to advise you that the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16411-204 does install on the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 without additional parts. This kit includes all brackets, rails and hardware. This kit will give you a set of industry standard base rails that will work with virtually any 5th wheel hitch on the market that mounts to above-bed base rails, including the Curt E16 5th wheel hitch # 16516 you mentioned.
There is no drilling required to install the frame brackets # C16411-204 for this kit. The Installation rails are rated to meet vehicle manufacturer's tow ratings (see vehicle owner's manual).
Additionally, The 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Plug # C56000 will keep you from having to run the trailer connector over the tailgate and down to the bumper. It connects behind your factory 7-pole at the bumper to a new 7-pole in the truck bed. The adapter has a 90-degree angle for tight spaces.
